Television - Foxhole (live 1978)

Yay! I am going to get around to discussing the MDR-V600s at some point, but while I get my head together on that subject here's another piece of leftfield rock discovered on YouTube (and by discovered I mean, found by typing the appropriate terms into the search box.

Points to note:

1.Tom Verlaine appears to be wearing Nils Lofgren's t-shirt. Perhaps the came free with guitar strings in the 70s.
2. Fred Smith is playing a Ricky. I honestly never knew that. He always sounds like he's playing a Fender on the rekkids.

It's from the Whistle ~Test, so insert your own whispering bob harris impression here...

Talk Talk - I Believe In You

I was going to start this blog off with the rather exciting news that a backup supply of Sony MDR-V600s seems to have appeared. But more of that later.

Here is a video that I didn't even know existed of the ultimate headphone album ever: Talk Talk's Spirit of Eden. The detail Tim Friese-Greene brings to the record isn't exactly apparent in Flash Video, but it's a starting point: go find more.
